Okaya Power collaborated with CharIN E.V  

Okaya Power has made an announcement that it has become a core member of the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN E.V.) which is an open coalition of world-class firms within the electric vehicle (EV) industry. This moved is taken to support the Combined Charging System (CCS) as a global standard for EV charging which focuses on charging and promoting eco-friendly mobility in the country.

The partnership between both will continue to refine the CCS. The Okaya is very much committed to promoting the mass adoption of electric vehicles by offering a universal and internationally flexible charging system.

The Okaya has joined CharIN to contribute to the global electric mobility revolution as it is expert in developing EV chargers which use the latest technology and communication standards. It includes the Combined Charging solution (CCS)- CharIN and CHAdeMO, a quick charging standard for electric vehicles.

In view of the new vehicles capable of faster charging speeds hitting the market, it has become inevitable to scale up charging infrastructure based on a single standard. Hence, Okaya has joined hands with Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN E.V.) to foster e-mobility with highly capable, energy-efficient and user-friendly charging infrastructure.”

The company had these plans from starting itself that it will manufacture world-class EV products and solutions. However, the Okaya will be the early mover to take advantage of this segment. The company’s initiative will also help to boost the Indian government’s vision to achieve maximum electrical mobility by 2030.

Four-wheeler EV products

Okaya has launched its four-wheeler EV products range with all three types of the protocol being used worldwide-GB/T, CCS & CHAdeMO. Till now the company has deployed 400 EV charging equipment. 

It has also launched the iCat-approved lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries for two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The company’s service network is available across the country with 400 trained engineers. It has also kept a toll free service number for 24*7 for helping the customers.




Okaya has become a leading battery manufacturer with a different range of batteries which is suitable for any applications.
