Odysse Electric Vehicles launched a low-speed electric scooter E2Go

Odysse Electric Vehicles a homegrown electric two-wheeler manufacturing company has announced a launch of its new low-speed scooter, E2Go for the Indian market. The company is offering two variants E2Go and E2Go Lite that comes with a lead-acid battery and the lithium-ion battery. It is priced in India at 52,999 and ₹ 63,999 (ex-Showroom Ahmedabad) respectively.

The E2Go and E2Go Lite will be available in 5 different colour options such as Azure Blue, Scarlet Red, Teal Green, Midnight Black, Matte Black. As it is a low-speed electric scooter it doesn’t require license or registrations. It is best suited for youth and woman riders.

Odysse Electric Vehicles Chief Executive Officer Mr Nemin Vora has said that “The E2Go is targeted towards the urban women and youth market where everyone wants to have their mobility in their own hands at an affordable entry cost without any hassle of registration process or license,” “We hope our offerings will also contribute towards bringing down the pollution levels in the cities of India,” he added.

Odysse Electric Vehicles opens new dealership in Mumbai

Talking about its features and specifications, the Odysse E2Go comes with a 250 Watt, 60V BLDC motor (Waterproof) electric motor. The company is offering two types of battery options such as 1.26 kWh Lithium-ion battery or 28AH lead-acid battery.

It comes with an anti-theft mechanism and with a top speed of 25 kmph and ranges 60 km on a full charge. The battery can be fully charged in 3.5 to 4 hours. It has a telescopic front fork and dual spring hydraulic rear shock absorbers.

Its key features include LED speedometer, anti-theft motor locking, keyless entry, USB charging, reverse gear function and 3 drive modes. Its lithium-ion batteries are portable and come with a warranty of 3 years. These batteries are easily available in Odysse dealership as well.

The company has 9 dealerships across India and each outlet runs a service centre to the customers. The company is planning 10 new outlets by March 2021.

    Plz upload the details about Amo electric scooter. I have no idea but a showroom is opened near by where I live. Will it worth to have the Amo scooters for personal use.
