Rivot Motors, a Bengaluru-based electric scooter manufacturer, is set to launch its first premium electric scooter, the Rivot NX 100. The company is teasing the public while also hinting that it will soon launch the electric scooter. Testing of the scooter began in 2019. According to the company, the Rivot NX 100 will compete with electric scooter manufacturers such as Ola S1, Simple Energy One, and Ather 450X.

Design
The Rivot NX 100 has an attractive body and a futuristic design. At the front, we will see LED headlights, turn signals, etc. A notable feature of the electric car Rivot NX 100 is the front dash cam. The headlights have three built-in cameras that will record everything that happens without you even knowing it. This is one of the best features of this scooter.
Motor and Battery Capacity
Rivot NX 100 electric scooter is equipped with a medium-sized electric motor of 4 kW, belt drive, torque 150 Nm, the vehicle is equipped with 4 removable NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) batteries. Each battery can go 70 km. In addition, the Rivot NX 100 scooter has some unique features such as an auxiliary power supply that helps when all four batteries are running low.
Speed and range
As we mentioned earlier, the Rivot NX 100 has four batteries. Each battery has a range of 70 km, a total range of 280 km on a single charge, and a top speed of 120 km/h.
System for regenerative braking
In the electric scooter Rivot NX 100, the regenerative brake has a load capacity of up to 35%, 25% higher than the braking system of other brands.
Features a handless boot opening system
The Rivot NX 100 has unique features such as a handleless trunk opening, meaning a sensor is provided next to the scooter’s side kickstand. By pressing it with your foot, you will hydraulically open the trunk, where you can put your stuff.
The charging time
As we all know, the electric motorcycle Rivot NX 100 has 4 batteries, the usage time is much longer than other electric motorcycles. Approximately 4-5 hours are needed to fully charge the scooter, as per the company statement. Another surprising aspect is the scooter’s charging system. Unlike other scooters, you won’t need to think about carrying a charger with you. The charging station is provided inside the scooter and can be recharged by unplugging it and then plugging it into the appropriate outlet.
Price and launch date of electric scooter Rivot NX 100
The company has yet to reveal the exact price of the Rivot NX 100, but based on its features and specifications, we can assume that it could be priced between Rs 1.50 and Rs 1.80 lakh. Following the introductions and announcements coming from the company, the company confirmed that it is ready to launch this scooter soon.
