The Windsor EV quickly gained traction, receiving over 15,000 bookings on its first day—a record for EVs in India. It has maintained its status as the country’s best-selling EV for four consecutive months, from October 2024 to January 2025. Despite a temporary slowdown in February 2025 due to facility modifications at MG’s Halol plant, the demand remains robust, with approximately 200 new bookings daily.
To meet the increasing demand and prepare for future product expansions, MG is upgrading its Halol manufacturing facility. These enhancements aim to boost production capacity and streamline operations, ensuring timely deliveries to customers.
