Kinetic E-LUNA’s market debut is imminent

Energizing electric vehicles with Kinetic Green

Kinetic Green is launching E-LUNA soon. Kinetic Green is passionate about maximizing energy efficiency in the electric vehicle sector. They hosted an impressive preview and pre-launch event for its Kinetic Green family of suppliers for its E-LUNA, the next big thing in India’s e-mobility journey. It will soon become clear to those eagerly waiting to hit the field.

Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder, and CEO of Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, shared insights about the event on social media. She then expressed her enthusiasm and joy about the developments surrounding E-LUNA’s launch.

Kinetic Luna Electric

Kinetic Group has announced reviving this legendary moped after 50 years of production. It’s only available as an electric car, and that’s the kicker. The price is higher than just Rs. 2000, however. Let’s see. As of December 2022, TVS dominates the scooter market. As the only domestic ICE moped, the XL100 sells 30,000-40,000 units monthly. The Kinetic Group with 50cc engines has no plans to revive the Luna.

Luna, on the other hand, is likely to be an electric car. That was Luna’s charm at the time. Manufactured by the Kinetic Group of India and fitted with a 50cc engine. It’s economical and practical and has benefited many small families and business owners alike. There was a time when the Luna sold about 2,000 units a day. At that time he was the most popular moped in India with prices starting at Rs 2,000.

Features of the Kinetic Luna Electric

Electric scooters for the B2B market appear regularly. An EV for the B2B market could come from Honda. Benly e-test mules are also becoming popular, and a patent for an electric scooter has recently surfaced. Kinetic Group needs to revive its famous moped Luna in India immediately.

The motor of Kinetic Luna Electric

The Kinetic Luna was produced in 1972. It had a 49cc 2-stroke petrol engine with pedals if it ran out of fuel, producing 2.2hp and 4.2Nm. Due to the small engine size, registration requirements were exempt. The Luna competed with the TVS 50 moped of all time until emissions problems phased it out in the early 2000s.

Range of Kinetic Luna Electric

The Kinetic Luna will soon be back in electric form, and with parts like the chassis already in production, that could happen soon. The Luna will likely be a low-speed electric scooter with modest specs for the battery version.

The maximum speed is 45km/h and the cruising range is 100km.
