Introducing UV Squadron: A community for electric motorcycle riders

F77 owners will be part of the ‘UV Squadron’ and the company aims to go beyond community rides


There has been an announcement by Bangalore-based startup Ultraviolette Automotive that it has launched an official rider community for its electric two-wheelers. Dubbed the “UV Squadron,” the group will include F77 owners and the company aims to do more than just a community ride. Ultraviolet recently held its first community ride in Bangalore in honor of World Motorcycle Day.

Founded by Ultraviolette, UV Squadron is a platform where like-minded technology and motorcycle enthusiasts can connect, share experiences, and contribute to the company’s rapidly growing electric motorcycle ecosystem. “Our goal is to recognize sustainable and positive thinking while celebrating passionate and progressive people,” the company states. 

 

Cost of Ultraviolet F77 in India

The F77 electric motorcycle is now being sold by Ultraviolette in the Indian market. Among these products, there is the flagship item of the company, which is available in three different versions: Standard, Recon, and Limited Edition. These products cost between Rs 380,000 and Rs 550,000, excluding showrooms. It is important to note that only 77 pieces of the limited edition F77 were produced, and as a result it has already sold out. 

Performance and range of ultraviolet F77

In the Ultraviolette F77’s standard version, an electric motor with a power output of 27 KW (36.2 bhp) is employed, while the Recon and Limited Edition models have motors with a power output of 29 kW (38.9 bhp) and 30.2 kW (40.5 bhp), respectively. The battery packs of these cars are made up of 7.1 kWh, 10.3 kWh and 10.3 kWh, and are claimed to offer a range of 206 kilometers, 307 kilometers and 307 kilometers per charge, respectively.
