The Co-Founder of Abzo Motors, Kanchi Patel, expressed her excitement about the launch, saying: “We are extremely excited to launch our first electric bike.” Electric bicycles are the future of the industry. The automobile industry and Gujarat are gradually emerging as a hub for manufacturing electric vehicles, especially two- and four-wheelers. Therefore, our country of Gujarat was a natural choice as it offers us a familiar environment, a healthy ecosystem for automobile manufacturing, and valuable insights for manufacturing, testing, and launching our products.
The Abzo e-bikes will be launched in phases through a dealer network across India. In addition, we plan to broaden our presence in Gujarat and diversify our product line by adding more products, including a second bike category – the standard bike,” added Ms. Patel.
To ensure that the e-bike meets the highest level of quality benchmarks in India, the Automobile Research Association of India (ARAI) has certified it.
Abzo Motors, a company incorporated in 2019, has invested a great deal of time and money into researching and developing the company’s new product. A manufacturing facility located along Kadi-Thol Road in Rangpurda on the outskirts of Ahmedabad is currently being built by the company and covers 17,069 square meters with assembly lines, testing facilities, and dyno tests that will determine the power, torque, and force of the vehicle on a dyno.
