Electric motorcycle manufacturer Revolt Motors announced some exciting news. The electric car maker recently tweeted its cooperation with the Kochi Police Department. As part of this collaboration, REVOLT added a motorcycle RV400 to the Kochi Prefectural Police fleet. On the occasion of World Environment Day, the electric motorcycle was handed over to the Kochi police department. The RV400 is Revolt Motors’ only product available for sale after 2019 and is a popular choice for fleet buyers. The manufacturer recently resumed RV400 bookings. This was for a few months and the price was Rs 1.29 lakh (excluding the Delhi showroom).

RV400: What Is It?

In order to achieve a top speed of 85km/h, the RV400 has a 3kWh battery which is connected to a 3kW motor that produces 54Nm of torque and produces 54Nm of power. In terms of cruising range, the RV400 is said to be capable of covering 150 km on one charge. Feature Highlights

Speaking of features, the RV400 has LED headlights, keyless ignition, a fully digital console, and a removable battery. Other key features of the EV include a speaker system near the steps. This can cause false motorcycle noise. Drivers have the flexibility to choose sound options such as Revolt, Rebel, Rage, and Roar.

Revolt is aggressively expanding into new regions. The electric car maker recently opened 15 brand-new dealerships. These 15 new traders are spread across Raipur, Bahadurgarh, Vapi, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Bhubaneswar, Agra, Kota, Jhansi, Meerut, Surat, Dehradun, Ghaziabad, and Faridabad.

A surge in EV sales is underway

Considering the growing demand for electric vehicles on the market, Revolt has achieved exemplary results. The electric scooter market is flooded with a wide range of electric scooters. However, the two-wheeler electric vehicle market is not doing well. Using a first-mover strategy, the Revolt was sold in significant numbers. It is currently the best-selling electric motorcycle on the Indian market. Revolt hopes to leverage its extensive dealer network to attract more customers to its showroom.
