Yesterday saw the unveiling of the new Hop Leo from the electric two-wheeler company Hop Electric. Although the business withheld the scooter’s actual pricing, it did state that it is priced below the 1 lakh rupee threshold and that interested customers can buy the e-scooter at their local dealership or online. In terms of the battery, Hop states that the Leo can be fully charged from 0% to 80% in 2.5 hours and comes with a 2.1 kWh battery pack and an 850 W charger.
The scooter also has three ride modes: Eco, Power, and Sport. The e-scooter has a reverse function as well, and according to Hop, it can climb 12 degrees. The new LEO, according to HOP, can travel 120 kilometers on a single full charge. The e-electric scooter’s motor has a peak output of 2200 W and a maximum torque of 90 Nm. The controller is a sinusoidal FOC Vector control, and the motor is a BLDC hub motor.
The scooter has an additional GPS tracker purchase option. Black, White, Grey, Blue, and Red are the available color options for the scooter, and registration with a green number plate is necessary. The Leo also comes with an LCD digital display as a feature.
