Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility arm, Vida, has launched its most affordable electric scooter yet – the Vida VX2. Designed for city commuters and young families, the VX2 brings flexibility, modern design, and low-cost ownership, starting at just ₹59,490 under the battery subscription model.

Affordable Pricing with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS)

The VX2 is available in two variants:

• VX2 Go with a 2.2 kWh battery
• VX2 Plus with a 3.4 kWh battery

Pricing (Ex-Showroom India):

• VX2 Go: ₹59,490 (BaaS) / ₹99,490 (with battery)
• VX2 Plus: ₹64,990 (BaaS) / ₹1,09,990 (with battery)

The BaaS model allows customers to lease the battery, significantly reducing the upfront cost. Battery subscription is priced at ₹0.96 per km. Vida guarantees battery health and provides free replacements if capacity drops below 70%.

Battery and Range

• VX2 Go offers an IDC-certified range of 92 km
• VX2 Plus delivers a longer range of 142 km

Charging time is around 4-6 hours on standard chargers, with fast charging enabling 0 to 80% in roughly an hour.

Smart Features and Design

The VX2 stands out with:

• LED lighting
• 12-inch alloy wheels
• Large under-seat storage: 33.2L (VX2 Go), slightly lower for Plus due to dual battery
• Additional front storage (frunk)

It includes smart connectivity features like remote immobilization, anti-theft alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and OTA updates. The VX2 Go gets a 4.3-inch LCD screen, while the VX2 Plus offers a 4.3-inch TFT display.

Warranty and Support

The scooter comes with a 5-year/50,000 km warranty and is supported by Vida’s extensive charging and service network, covering over 500 cities and 3,600+ charging points.
