Hero MotoCorp to Launch Budget-Friendly Vida Z on July 1
New Electric Scooter Under ₹1 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp will launch its most affordable electric scooter—the Vida Z (likely to be branded as Vida VX2)—on July 1, 2025. Priced around ₹1 lakh, it’s aimed at value-conscious family buyers looking for a reliable and cost-effective EV.
Modular Battery, Smarter Design
The Vida Z will feature a modular platform with removable battery packs (2.2 kWh to 4.4 kWh) and a permanent magnet synchronous motor, offering users flexibility to charge batteries indoors—something missing in rivals like TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak, which have fixed batteries.
Loaded with Smart Features
Despite its budget tag, the Vida Z will come with:
- TFT digital display
- Smartphone connectivity
- Advanced telematics
These features bring a smart, connected experience to everyday commuting.
