First Ola Roadster X Rolls Out from Ola Futurefactory; Deliveries to Begin This Month
April 12, 2025 – Bengaluru, India: In a major milestone for India’s electric vehicle (EV) industry, Ola Electric has officially rolled out the first unit of its much-anticipated Roadster X from the Ola Futurefactory. Touted as one of the most advanced electric motorcycles to come out of India, the Roadster X marks Ola’s bold entry into the high-performance EV motorcycle segment.
The first production model was unveiled at a special event held at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal personally took the wraps off the vehicle, calling it a “historic moment” not just for the company, but for the future of two-wheeler mobility in India.
“The Roadster X is the culmination of cutting-edge design, world-class engineering, and sustainable innovation. With this launch, we’re taking a giant leap toward our vision of making India the global epicenter of EV manufacturing,” said Aggarwal.
The Roadster X is expected to feature a futuristic design language, aggressive styling, and class-leading performance metrics. While official specifications are yet to be revealed in full, the motorcycle is rumored to offer an impressive range, fast charging capabilities, and advanced tech integrations including AI-based riding modes and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Deliveries Start This Month
Ola has confirmed that customer deliveries for the Roadster X will begin later this month , with early adopters across major metro cities receiving priority. The motorcycle is currently open for pre-orders through the official Ola Electric website and app.
Ola Futurefactory, known as the world’s largest two-wheeler factory built on Industry 4.0 principles, will handle full-scale production. The facility is entirely run by women and powered by renewable energy, underlining Ola’s commitment to both gender inclusivity and sustainability.
As the Indian EV landscape continues to grow rapidly, the launch of the Roadster X positions Ola Electric as a serious player not just in scooters, but in the performance motorcycle market as well.
