EKA Mobility, one of India’s leading electric bus manufacturers, has successfully completed the delivery of three electric buses to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi . The order was secured through a reverse auction process , showcasing EKA Mobility’s competitive edge in the electric mobility sector. The buses delivered are 9-meter electric buses , specially designed to meet institutional transport needs. Each bus is equipped with a 23+1 seating configuration , providing ample passenger capacity while ensuring comfort and safety.
A notable feature of these buses is their wheelchair accessibility , made possible through a hydraulic lift mechanism , ensuring inclusivity for differently-abled passengers. This aligns with AIIMS’ focus on providing healthcare access with dignity and convenience for all, including patients with special mobility requirements.
