eBikeGo plans to add 25k e-bikes to fleet,
aims Rs 14 Cr pre-series fund
eBikeGo an Amritsar based electric two-wheeler rental startup is planning to expand its fleet. In that regard, it aims for pre-series fund of another $2 million or Rs 14 crore fund.
The startup aims to hold 5 per cent of the commercial two-wheeler market by 2021. It is founded by Irfan Khan and it has witnessed tremendous growth from 2017. In 2017 it had 640 users to 18,000 users it increased by 2019.

For this year the company has boldly aimed to reach 1 million users. The startup’s e-bike offers a top speed of 55km/h and a range up to 100 km per charge.“
We believe since we are first to the market with a lucrative rental model will help us grow rapidly. There is as good as no competition and demand are growing rapidly. We should look at expanding our turnover by 30x in the next three years,” added Khan.
eBikeGo works with many different companies to transform the fleets to electric. The startup has successfully provided fleet solutions to the delivery companies such as Zomato, Delhivery, Ferns & Petals, Gostops, Big Basket, Ninja Cart amongst others.
Recently, eBikeGo has provided its e-bikes to Bengaluru based bike taxi startup Rapido which is looking to electrify 10% of its fleet by 2020.
eBikeGo is currently operating in five Indian cities, Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Jalandhar, and Agra. Now it is targeting Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Kochi and Kolkata. The e-bike rental startup started its journey with 640 users in 2017 and is now reportedly serving nearly 18K users. The company believes that it will easily reach a million users by 2020.
