Earth Energy launches 3 new electric two-wheelers in India 

A Mumbai based electric vehicles start-up Earth Energy EV has launched 3 new electric two-wheelers in India. The startup’s electric two-wheelers comprise 96% local content. The electric vehicles are priced between ₹92,000 and ₹1,42,000.

The three new electric scooters-GlYDE plus, Evolve Z and Evolve R are priced at ₹92,000, ₹1.3 lakh and ₹1.42 lakh rupees respectively.

These electric vehicles are produced and its R&D has been done in the Earth Energy’s plant in Mumbai. Its manufacturing capacity is 12,000 units per year. At current it has 7 dealerships in Mumbai and they have planned for more 45 showrooms by the year-end. The vehicles have been gone through extensive real-world testing for 2 years and have run 6,00,000 km in 7 years.

The electric two-wheelers are available in 3 colours such as Marshal Grey, Jet Black, and White.
While we look for their features all three have the LED lighting, a 50-inch digital instrument cluster. The company offers a dedicated EV app.

The digital instrument cluster informs the information about battery percentage, speed, range and also the navigation. Here is an interesting thing we have found in these electric scooters that they can be booked for a pickup or drop by scheduling the details in the app also.

The scooter comes with a combined braking system and both motorcycles come with ABS standard.

Glyde plus

The specifications of Glyde plus includes, it is equipped with a 2.4kW motor and is powered with a 52Ah lithium-ion battery which produces 26NM of torque. It provides a top speed of 60 kmph and can give a range of 100 km. Its battery can be charged in just 2.5 hours with a fast charger. It can accelerate 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes.

Evolve Z

Evolve Z comes with a 5.3kW of power and 56Nm of torque. It can provide a top speed of 95km/hr and gives a range of 100km. It is powered with a 96Ah battery capacity and can be charged in 2.5 hours with a fast charger.

Evolve R

Evolve R is said to be India’s first cruiser electric motorcycle. It is equipped with a powerful motor 12.5kW which produces 54Nm of torque. It offers the highest top speed of 110kmph. It is powered with a 115Ah battery.

The Earth Energy’selectric two-wheelerss can be booked by paying 1,000 rupees. The Glyde plus will be available in showrooms from end of February and the other two models Evolve Z and R will be available by March-end.
