ChargeZone Expands in South India by Onboarding Fresh Bus EV Charging Network
ChargeZone has strengthened its foothold in southern India by onboarding a full network of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station assets from Fresh Bus, a leading intercity electric bus operator.
Fresh Bus currently connects major cities including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, Tirupati, Guntur, and Visakhapatnam. With this collaboration, ChargeZone not only ensures priority access for Fresh Bus’ electric fleet but also plans to gradually open these facilities to other EV operators, thereby maximizing network utilization and improving regional charging infrastructure.
A significant highlight of the initiative is the integration of renewable energy solutions at charging sites in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada. This move aligns with India’s broader clean mobility goals, ensuring sustainable operations while catering to the rapidly growing EV ecosystem.
By leveraging Fresh Bus’ established intercity presence and ChargeZone’s advanced charging technology, the partnership is set to play a key role in accelerating EV adoption across southern India, especially in the public transport sector.
