BYD announces ultra-safe Blade Batteries for its all-electric vehicles 

BYD the world’s leading global EV maker has officially announced that its all-electric vehicles will now come with the company’s ultra-safe Blade Batteries. These ultra-safe blade batteries with nail penetration testing fully adopted as a brand standard and it has also completed the strength test in which it has been rolled over by a 46-ton heavy truck. It has again reset the bar for power battery safety. The Blade Battery production line and equipment all being developed in-house.

4 new electric vehicles such as the 2021 Tang EV, Qin PLUS EV, Song PLUS EV, and 2021 e2 which was launched in the Chinese market are all equipped with Blade Batteries. The batteries have combustion and explosion issues which are becoming a hindrance to the development of the EV market. At this time the safety is very important as the risk of battery safety accidents increases.

The Blade Battery has passed all the battery tests that the industry deals with. Its battery gives long-range and life, safety, strength and power. The first model of BYD Han is equipped with the Blade Battery that has been sold more than 10,000 units each month by the market since its launch in July 2020.

The test done for the BYD Blade Battery pack has successfully passed and can be used in extremely harsh conditions. The company has 26 years of R&D experience in the field of battery and has 100% independent R&D and design capabilities. The leading global carmakers have now partnered with BYD subsidiary FinDreams Battery and the Blade Battery is installed on EV models in the company’s brand all over the world.

BYD launched a new e-Platform 3.0 for electric vehicles

BYD has launched the e-platform 3.0 for electric vehicles at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show and it has also debuted its X Dream concept car and all-new EA1.

It is equipped with a new heat pump technology with a newly upgraded 8-in-1 module for the drive system. If an electric vehicle is equipped with an e-platform it will just take 2.9 seconds to go from 0 to 100km/h with the range of up to 1,000km. It can be charged with an 800V fast charging technology that charges the vehicle in just 5 minutes to give it a range of 150km. The power consumption is also reduced by 10% per 100 kilometres and the range is 10% longer in winters.
