BMW iX electric SUV launched in India
The German luxury car brand BMW has launched its fully electric SUV BMW iX in India with a price tag of Rs 1,15,90,000 (ex-showroom). The all-electric SUV BMW iX comes with a five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP which is very important in any vehicle.
BMW has announced that the car has been sold out and in the first phase of bookings only has got a great response from the customers in India for the electric SUV. Globally the BMW iX was globally unveiled in November 2020. The all-new BMW iX electric SUV is the company’s technology flagship offering.
Features
While we look for the BMW iX electric SUV features a large kidney grille with a black theme, flanked by sleek LED headlamps with dual-beam appearances. It gets double-wishbone suspension at the front and uses carbon and fibre to build it. It gets sporty alloy wheels, black glass, sleek LED taillights, a sporty roof spoiler, and a black bumper with blue accents and a slopy roof which makes the SUV more stylish. Apart from these, it has a centre console with touchpads, a leather seat and upholstery materials and many more.
Specifications
The pure electric SUV’s is available in two variants xDrive 40 and xDrive 50. It comes with a fifth-generation all-electric powertrain that uses two electric motors. The BMW xDrive 40 comes with a 76.6 kWh battery pack which powers electric motors to develop a combined output of 240 kW or 322 bhp and a peak torque of 630 Nm. It gives a range of 425 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge.
The BMW iX xDrive50 also offers a combined output of 375 kW or 503 bhp which gives a 765 NM of peak torque and ranges a 611 km without recharge. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.1 seconds.
