An eco-tourism start-up, B:Live launched zero emission e-bikes in Mysore to promote eco-friendly tourism. These e-bikes are available for both the tourists and locals at select places on the rental basis. These e-bikes are presently available at Grand Mercure, Radisson Blu and Windflower. 

B:Live launched zero emission e-bikes in Mysore

B:Live, an eco-tourism start-up, has launched the EV tourism concept in Mysore, on Monday. The start-up introduces zero emission e-bikes for this mission, which can be rented out. These e-bikes are presently available at Grand Mercure, Radisson Blu and Windflower, hospitality destinations, which came forward to support the cause, the eco-friendly initiative by providing charging hubs and dockets for the e-bikes.

After Goa, Gujarat and Puducherry, Mysore is the first city in the State to get the startup’s EV tourism. Expitours, Mysuru is the experience partner of the startup which brings the e-tours live. B.S. Prashanth of the Mysore Travels Association, B:Live CEO and Co-founder Samarth Kholkar and COO and Co-founder Sandeep Mukherjee were present at the launch to support the initiation.

According to the B:Live, these e-bikes deliver 50 km range per charge. They are equipped with digital screens for multi-info display. These zero emission bikes come with an accelerator and pedal-assist mode for safe and effortless riding.

They also planning to launch this EV tourism service soon in Hampi, Kodagu and Srirangapatna. And the eco-tourism start-up also extending its plans in such a way that each destination in Mysore will have at least 50 e-bikes in the next few days. Tourists and locals can enjoy the ride by simply buying the pre-paid token by submitting a valid ID proof.
