Blacksmith Electric unveils new electric model started pre-orders 

Blacksmith Electric has unveiled a new electric scooter model called B4 to its existing line up of electric motorcycles and scooters. The B4 model is specially designed for logistics, courier & food delivery.

The Chennai based automaker has now commenced its pre-bookings of its scooters. Its electric scooters line up includes B2, B3, B4 and B4+ and the vehicle can be pre-booked by just paying 1,000 and is refundable. B4 and B4+ are the new electric vehicles in the company’s line up. It had unveiled its B2 electric cruiser motorcycle in 2019.

The launch was to take place in 2020 but due to Covid 19 pandemic, the launch has been delayed and now the company is rolled out for pre-orders.

Features of B4

The B4 electric vehicle has some amazing features that help in logistics and delivery purposes. It is having a loading capacity of 200 kgs with a 25 degrees grade ability. It has a rider and pillion adjustable backrest for comfortable riding experience. It comes with safety options such as Anti-theft alarm and circuit closing system and side stand and occupant sensor and kids seat belt. It has a digital speedometer.

It has alloy wheels with front and rear telescopic suspension. Its smart Apps helps to use its GPS and Artificial Intelligence System. It comes with a LED with project headlamps with new traffic indicators. The scooters come with disc brakes at each end. It has freedom footrest and kids footrest with a ground clearance of 210 mm. The scooter dimensions are 1945(L) X 720(W) X 1150(H). 

Specifications of B4

While looking for its specifications, the scooter is equipped with 5 KW AC motor which is powered with an NMC battery pack with Intelligent Bluetooth BMS which provides a range of 120 km. The peak torque is rated at 96Nm/14.5 KW. It is offering a top speed of 120 kmph and can be customizable to 60, 80, 100, 120 kmph. Its battery can be charged in 4 hours.
