Bird an electric mobility company has unveiled a new electric bike ‘Bird Bike’ which is available from the leading U.S. retailers. A few months ago the company had introduced its first shared e-bike. This e-bike will be the first e-bike for consumer use purposes rather than for the shared models. The Bird bike can be purchased for US$2,299. While we look for its technical terms, the e-bike has a Bafang rear hub motor and a 36-volt 12.8Ah removable battery made of LG cells for easy charging. With a full charge, it can provide a range of 50 miles (80 km) of extended range.
Features
The Bird Bike comes with the features such as a chainless Gates Carbon drivetrain, backlit handlebar dash display which helps the riders to track the speed, distance, battery life and more. Apart from that, it has a commercial-grade aluminium alloy frame, kenda puncture-resistant tires, integrated, high-visibility LED Lights, max e-assist speed of 20 mph, safety certified and IP65+ water-resistant, fully adjustable seat height, radius CX7 mechanical disc braking and Bluetooth and app connectivity.
The Riders in the EU and UK will have access to 250W of continuous rated power in line with local regulations, while US riders can experience 500W of electric support.
