Bike Bazaar and e-Sprinto Join Forces to Deploy 10,000 Electric Scooters Across India
In a major push to accelerate electric mobility in India, Bike Bazaar, a leading two-wheeler financing platform, has announced a strategic partnership with e-Sprinto, one of the country’s fast-growing electric scooter manufacturers. This collaboration aims to finance and deploy over 10,000 electric scooters in the coming months, focusing on urban commuters and gig economy workers who rely heavily on two-wheelers for last-mile deliveries and daily transportation.
Through this alliance, Bike Bazaar will provide customized financing solutions with low EMIs, flexible repayment tenures, and minimal documentation, making electric scooters more accessible to a larger segment of the population. The partnership also aims to reduce the upfront cost barrier that prevents many from switching to electric vehicles.
e-Sprinto, known for its robust range of EVs designed for Indian roads, will supply the scooters, which are tailored for high-mileage, low-maintenance, and efficient urban travel. These vehicles will be made available through Bike Bazaar’s extensive dealer and financier network spread across key Indian cities.
This move is particularly significant for gig workers and logistics professionals who are constantly on the road. With rising fuel prices and environmental concerns, switching to electric two-wheelers provides a cost-effective and sustainable alternative. The deployment of these 10,000 EVs is expected to enhance the earning potential of gig workers by drastically reducing fuel expenses and maintenance costs.
Bike Bazaar’s CEO stated,
“Our mission is to democratize electric mobility and make EV ownership financially viable for the everyday Indian. Our partnership with e-Sprinto is a step in that direction—enabling thousands of people to embrace cleaner, smarter mobility.”
Both companies see this initiative as part of a larger commitment to India’s EV vision and sustainability goals. By encouraging mass adoption of electric scooters, they aim to reduce carbon emissions, decongest cities, and support the central government’s push for cleaner transportation solutions.
With this ambitious deployment, Bike Bazaar and e-Sprinto are setting an example for other players in the industry to create ecosystem-level collaborations that blend financing, manufacturing, and distribution to fast-track EV adoption in India.
