Designs
Both electric scooters look almost the same from a design point of view. Both the Simple One and the Ather 450X have a sporty design. But the Simple One is wide at the front and with those wings and DRLs. While we have become accustomed to the Ather design, it looks attractive. The Simple One looks almost identical to the Ather 450X and comes with star-shaped alloy wheels and an exclusive swingarm. Additionally, its weight is approximately 23 kg higher than that of the Ather 450X.
Technical Specifications
First of all, let’s take a look at the Simple One electric scooter. It is equipped with a 5-kilowatt hour battery in which 3.5-kilowatt hours is fixed and 1.5-kilowatt hour is removable. When it comes to the Ather 450X Pro pack the top-end variant, it comes with a 3.4-kilowatt-hour fixed battery pack. The main advantage of the Simple One electric scooter is that this 1.5-kilowatt battery is easily removable. With a 5-kilowatt-hour battery, the Simple One claims a 212km range. This is the only range reported.
When it comes to current conditions, we can expect a range of 168-170 kilometers. When it refers to the Ather 450X Pro pack with a 3.4-kilowatt-hour fixed battery Ather claims a range of 146 kilometers. But the real range is 105 kilometers.
If you look at some of the power figures Simple One can attain 0-40 speed in just 2.7 seconds, while Ather can attain the same speed in 3.3 seconds. Simple One e-scooter can go up to a top speed of 1.5 kilometers per hour while Ather 450X Pro pack can go up to a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour.
Charging time
When it comes to the charging time of these two electric scooters, Simple One takes 2 hours to fully charge the removable battery. It takes 4 hours to charge the fixed battery. This is done with the help of a 750-watt charger. To purchase this charger, you will have to pay an additional 13000 rupees. And Simple One announced that from September 2023, they would set up fast-charging stations throughout India.
When it comes to the Ather 450X Pro pack, it takes 6 hours to fully charge this 3.4-kilowatt-hour fixed battery. Ather also has 1200 plus fast charging stations called Ather Grid. And they are one of the most efficient charging networks in India right now.
Boot Space
Simple One electric scooter offers 30 liters of boot space and Ather 450X Pro pack offers 22 liters.
Additional Specifications & Features
Both electric scooters have telescopic suspension at the front and mono-shock at the rear. Both these electric scooters are equipped with disc brakes at the front and rear. Both these electric scooters come with 12 inches wheels and a ton of riding modes and connectivity features. Both these e-scooters have a large TFT instrument cluster with a host of connectivity features including onboard navigation and smartphone connectivity. Both these e-scooters stand out for connectivity features.
Colors
There are six different colors available for both electric scooters.
- Simple One comes in a variety of colors, including Black, White, Red, Grey, and Brazen X, as well as Brazen Light X.
- The Ather 450X Pro pack is available in Red, Black, Space Grey, Lunar Grey, Salt Green, and White colors.
Service
When it comes to service there is no idea on how Simple One electric scooter will manage when it comes to service part of you. On the other hand, Ather is quite the opposite of this.
Ather has dedicated service centers in all the major cities in India and Ather has already proved its service response. When it comes to warranty Simple One and Ather 450X Pro pack offer three years or 30,000 kilometers on these electric scooters. Both companies offer extended warranty plans.
Price
Simple One electric scooter is available for an extra room price of 1.45 lakh rupees. This 1.45 lakh rupees will give you a basic charger; if you want a 750-watt charger, you will have to pay 13,000 rupees more. So, including the charger, the extra room cost of this scooter is 1.58 lakh rupees. 5000 additional is required for Brazen X and Brazen Light X, two limited-edition colors.
When it comes to Ather the extra room cost of this Ather 450X Pro pack is 1.68 lakh rupees. This is 10,000 rupees more expensive than the Simple One electric scooter.
When it comes to EMI options, it’s uncertain about Simple One’s EMI options, because they have not yet their final payment window. But when it comes to Ather, it is flexible in EMI plans depending upon your CIBIL score Ather offers a ton of EMI options.
Last but not least,
There are 10,000 differences between the Simple One electric scooter and the Ather 450X Pro pack variants. The Ather 450X Pro pack is 10,000 rupees more expensive than the Simple One electric scooter. In this comparison, we can see that the Simple One provides more range and features than Ather 450X Pro.
