Ather Energy Launches New Rizta S Variant with 3.7kWh Battery and 159km Range
Ather Energy, a prominent player in India’s electric mobility landscape, has unveiled a new variant of its popular electric scooter – Rizta S – designed to deliver greater practicality, extended range, and advanced smart features. The newly introduced model comes equipped with a 3.7kWh battery pack , offering an impressive IDC range of 159 km on a single charge. Priced at INR 1,37,047 (ex-showroom, Delhi) , this variant aims to cater to daily urban commuters who seek both reliability and performance from their EVs.
One of the key highlights of this variant is its spacious 34-litre under-seat storage , which can be further expanded by an additional 22 litres using optional accessories. This makes the Rizta S one of the most storage-friendly electric scooters in its segment—ideal for families, delivery executives, or anyone who frequently carries bags, helmets, or groceries.
In terms of technology, the scooter features Ather’s 7-inch DeepView™ display , which supports turn-by-turn navigation and delivers a rich user interface experience. This intuitive display is designed to remain legible in direct sunlight and provide seamless connectivity with smartphones for an enhanced riding experience.
Safety remains a strong focus for Ather, and this new Rizta S variant includes advanced features such as Fall Safe , which automatically cuts off power during a fall to prevent further damage or injury, and Emergency Stop Signal , which activates hazard lights in case of sudden braking to alert surrounding vehicles.
