Ather 450X electric scooter launched in 16 additional cities 

India’s leading EV startup Ather Energy announced that it has launched its 450X scooter in 16 additional cities in India. The Ather 450X electric scooter launched in Mysore, Hubli, Jaipur, Indore, Panaji, Bhubaneshwar, Nasik, Surat, Chandigarh, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guwahati, Nagpur, Noida, Lucknow and Siliguri. At present, the electric vehicle startup has its presence in 11 locations across the country.

The company in a statement said it is expanding its plan to meet the national demand for the vehicle and Ather 450X will be available across 27 cities in India.

“We are really excited about adding 16 new markets and we look forward to establishing ourselves in these cities in the coming months,” Ather Energy Chief Business Officer Ravneet Singh Phokela said.

Ather Energy’s Ather 450X can provide acceleration of 0-40 kph in 3.3 seconds, Ather 450X has become the fastest electric scooter in India. With its OTA Upgrades and fast charging of 1.5km/minute makes 450X  electric scooter a number one electric scooter in India. 

Ather 450X 

It is having two varients 450x pro and 450x plus. The pro version has a top speed of 80 km/h and a range of 85 km on a single charge. The motor capacity is 3.3 kwatt. The battery pack is 2.9 kWh Lithium-ion which is non Detachable). It can be charged in 5 hrs 45 minutes with a home socket and 1.5 km/km fast charging rate with a dc fast charger. The 450x pro is priced at 1 lakh 59 thousand rupees.

Ather Energy introduced a buyback scheme for its Ather 450X EV

The plus version is also having similar specification as Ather 450. It has a top speed of 80 km/h and gives a range of 70 km on a single charge. The battery pack is 2.7 kWh Lithium-ion and can be charged in 5 hours 15 minutes with a home socket and 1 km/min fast charging rate with a DC fast charger. The price of 450x plus is ₹1 lakh 49 thousand.
