As per the Bengaluru based EV startup assured scheme, there will be an increase in the adoption of electric vehicles in the country. The co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy said that Ather Energy will buy back Ather 450X e-scooter at Rs 85,000, at the end of three years. The buyback scheme aims to retain its existing customers who want to upgrade to the latest version of Ather scooters in future and it is expecting second-hand value for its EV scooters.

The company has revised its subscription plans which offers its customers more flexibility, starting at Rs 125 per month. It will also expand its scooter leasing options for all its operational cities as it has witnessed huge adoption opportunities in Chennai and Bengaluru.

The startup has also announced the partnership with new financing partners to provide more range of financing options to its potential customers.

The leasing option allows the customers to use a fully loaded Ather 450X at a lower price point and a nominal monthly fee. This will help the customers who don’t want to buy it due to economic reasons. By the end of the financial year, the start-up aims to cover a total of 20 to 25 cities.
