A performance and utility-focused build of the 2024 Hyundai Kona Jayde Concept was revealed at this year’s SEMA show. Hyundai just released the Kona Jayde Concept at a time when the show is ramping up.
A contemporary crossover utility vehicle with a unique design, the Jayde Concept is designed to elevate your next adventure with its unparalleled style and flair. The Kona Jayde is not only a striking visual statement, but you can also ride it as an electric bicycle from Vintage Electric Bikes which comes with a matching cargo box from Thule.
Urban Aesthetics at its Best
In honor of those who express their style through their vehicles, the Kona Jayde Concept has been designed with a distinctive robin’s egg blue wrap that makes it immediately identifiable. This Kona is enhanced by the aerodynamics of Air Design, particularly the aggressive front lip, the unique rocker panels, and the sleek rear spoiler. With a brushed-black finish on its custom one-piece HRE 520M wheels, the Jayde exudes style and swagger. A pair of 20×9 wheels are paired with 235/40/ZR20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires for enhanced performance and style. This SUV’s rolling-stock combination combined with a ground-hugging stance made possible by Eibach lowering springs that reduce the ride height by two inches makes the Jayde a standout on city streets.
Combining style with functionality
This eye-catching concept car is equipped with a sophisticated exterior design, but beyond that, it is perfectly suited to urban adventures. As a result of Hyundai and MOBIS’ seamless collaboration, this vehicle is the result of one of the most successful projects Hyundai has ever undertaken. For the Jayde Concept’s additional capability, the vehicle comes equipped with a versatile Thule Pulse Alpine cargo box, which allows the driver to expand their storage capacity, and get around difficult spots in the city. This vehicle also has an electrifying final-mile solution: an e-bike from Vintage Electric Rally. In addition to being mounted securely on a Thule Epos bike rack and coupled to a Hyundai Genuine Accessory hitch, this electric bicycle is also stylish, high-performance, and retro in design. A special set of Michelin Power Gravel tires, which complement the color-coordinated exterior of the Rally, complete the unified appearance of the vehicle.
A sophisticated blend of style and function is also evident in the interior of this Kona, where RECARO Sportster CS seats feature custom plaid designs and a deviated stitch pattern that corresponds to the interior’s color scheme. As part of the Jayde Concept package, Hyundai Genuine Accessories are also included to round out the interior’s functionalities. These accessories include stylish door plates, a reversible cargo tray, and plush carpeted floor mats. To ensure the charge of brought-in technology including mobile phones, laptops, and action cameras, the Jayde Concept is also equipped with the Scosche Powerup 32K portable charger and the Invert 200 DC-to-AC adapter.
