A new DC fast charger that charges EV to 80% in 15 mins
A DC fast charger from a leading charger provider Tritium, an RT175-S smart charging system powers EVs to an 80 per cent charge in 15 minutes on an average. With ‘plug and charge’ one need not have a membership card, smartphone application or credit card reader to pay for their charge, instead, a charging session can be automatically and securely billed when the plug connects to the vehicles. This advance charging technology makes the charging process easier with improved customer data security. It is the first charger in the US market which can be plugged and charged.

It can be used by the modern vehicle class fleets that previously were unattainable with other industry charging solutions. The unit provides a powerful 175kW charge through a compact design solution which can be fitted anywhere without worrying about the space.
Jane Hunter, CEO of Tritium said that “The RT175-S is groundbreaking technology for the market. With more than 1.5 million EVs on the road in the U.S., this charger is a perfect solution to grow charging infrastructure and further the transition to electrified transportation,”
“The RT175-S is the ideal solution for high population areas and can easily be adapted for a highway rest stop, fuel stations, municipalities, utilities, fleets, retail, education, destination centres, and heavy infrastructures such as mining and ports.”
