Tata Pixel from Tata motors was showcased at the Auto Expo 2012. It is similar to Tata’s Nano car. Tata Pixel is launched in Europe but it didn’t announce its launched in India yet.

Tata Pixel Electric Car Specifications 

Tata Pixel is another small car from Tata Motors with the range between Rs.2 lakh to Rs.2.5 Lakh. The car has a great appearance, compact design which helps the vehicle in heavy crowds too. The car has a top speed of 105 kmph. The drum brakes at the front and back which gives more stability.

The Tata pixel which will launch in India will have the two-door hatchback with the protruding wheel arches, angular headlights, and high taillamps.

The most importantly it gets scissor doors which makes it look more attractive when we talk about the exteriors of Tata Pixel.

Coming to the technical aspects of the electric car it has 1.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine which can produce 65 bhp at 5150 rpm and the car will be able to produce 48 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm.




The small Tata Pixel is faster, lighter, steady and uses the McPherson struts and coil spring suspension system to maintain its balance. The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It gives a mileage of 20 Kmpl.
