Aether Energy the electric vehicles manufacturing company signed an MoU (memorandum of understanding) with the Godrej Nature’s Basket for pan India association. The company to install its charging stations at various outlets, stores.
The first EV charging point is been installed at the Sadashivnagar outlet in Bengaluru. This will help the commuters to charge their EVs easily at the outlets available nearer to them.
Aether Energy Signed An MoU With Godrej Nature’s Basket
The MoU signed is for 35 locations overall India including the cities such as Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai.
AtherGrid EV Fast-Charging Public Network Installed At 24 locations with 31 charging points
The company’s AtherGrid EV fast-charging public network is presently installed in 24 loactions with 31 charging points operational in Bengaluru.
Chief Business officer of Ather Energy Ravneet Phokela said, “Nature’s Basket stores’ network will ensure ease of accessibility and bring convenience to electric vehicle charging, that will fit seamlessly into commuters’ lives.
We will add five new locations for Bengaluru residents to charge their electric vehicles, which will be rolled out in phases. The facility will be made available in 35 Godrej stores across the country.”
EV Charging Point Is Free Of Cost Until September 2019
The company is planning to set up the next EV charging point at Koramangala.
This fast-charging network can be accessible by paying nothing, it is free of cost until September 2019.
The AtherGrid points are installed at the distance of every 4 km. The Bengaluru-based automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) is planning to expand its EV charging points to Chennai also, installation of around 10 to 15 charging points in the city.
