Zomato and Blinkit jointly organized the second edition of EV Bazaar 2025 at the NIMHANS Convention Center, Bengaluru, on September 8, 2025, marking another milestone in accelerating the adoption of sustainable mobility in India.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response with 1,000+ delivery partners in attendance and active participation from 18 leading EV manufacturers and service providers, making it one of the most impactful EV-centric gatherings in the delivery ecosystem.
Distinguished Guests and Key Highlights
The EV Bazaar 2025 was inaugurated in the presence of Karnataka Energy Minister K.J. George, who attended as the chief guest, and Indian cricketer Prasidh Krishna, who graced the occasion as the guest of honor. Their presence added prominence to the initiative, emphasizing the state’s and the nation’s growing focus on clean mobility solutions.
Building on the success of the inaugural edition held in Delhi in 2024, the Bengaluru chapter further strengthened the dialogue around EV adoption for gig workers and delivery fleets, underlining the role of sustainable transportation in shaping the future of urban logistics.
Participation from Leading EV Players
The event brought together top electric mobility brands and ecosystem enablers. EV manufacturers such as BGauss, Hero Motocorp, TVS, Bajaj, Ampere, Bounce Infinity, Motovolt Mobility, and Quantum showcased their innovative two- and three-wheeler models tailored for delivery operations.
Additionally, critical partners in financing and charging infrastructure—including Stride Green, Kazam, and Indofast Energy—displayed solutions aimed at reducing the barriers to EV adoption for delivery partners. Their participation highlighted the importance of creating an end-to-end ecosystem that not only provides vehicles but also financing, battery-swapping, and charging solutions.

These findings reflect the growing confidence of gig workers in EVs while underscoring the need for infrastructural and policy support to accelerate the transition.
Zomato and Blinkit’s Growing EV Impact
Both Zomato and Blinkit have been pioneers in driving sustainability in the food delivery and quick commerce segments. As of March 2025, the platforms collectively have over 51,000 EV delivery partners, who have already covered more than 150 million clean kilometers.
To further ease the shift, Zomato and Blinkit have facilitated 40+ EV rental collaborations, offering affordable access to electric two-wheelers without requiring delivery partners to invest heavily upfront. This approach has been instrumental in lowering the entry barrier for gig workers while scaling sustainable operations at speed.
Paving the Way for a Greener Future
By bringing together EV manufacturers, infrastructure providers, financing companies, and gig workers under one roof, EV Bazaar 2025 created a unique ecosystem of collaboration and innovation. It showcased practical solutions to accelerate adoption, while also addressing the challenges that continue to hold back mass-scale transition.
The success of the Bengaluru edition reaffirms Zomato and Blinkit’s commitment to making their delivery ecosystem 100% EV-driven in the near future. With strong support from government representatives, industry leaders, and delivery partners, events like these are setting the foundation for a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable urban delivery landscape in India.
