JSW MG Motor India Launches the Stunning Cyberster EV Convertible at ₹72.49 Lakh
25 July 2025 – India: JSW MG Motor India has officially introduced its most futuristic electric vehicle yet — the MG Cyberster , a two-door electric convertible that marks the brand’s foray into the high-performance luxury EV space. Unveiled under its premium retail outlet, MG SELECT , the Cyberster is designed to thrill, blending cutting-edge performance with bold styling and next-generation technology.
The MG Cyberster is priced at an introductory ₹72.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for customers who had made pre-reserved bookings . For all new bookings post-launch, the vehicle will retail at ₹74.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries are scheduled to begin from August 10, 2025 , and the Cyberster will be available exclusively across 13 Indian cities via MG SELECT Experience Centres .
Powering the Cyberster is a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup that churns out a staggering 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of torque. This allows the sleek EV roadster to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds , making it one of the quickest electric sports cars available in India.
🔋 Range and Battery The Cyberster comes equipped with a 77 kWh high-voltage battery , offering a MIDC-certified range of 580 km on a single charge. MG has also announced a lifetime warranty on the HV battery for the first owner , ensuring peace of mind with long-term ownership.
🚘 Iconic Design Features The MG Cyberster breaks traditional boundaries with its electric scissor doors , an homage to classic supercars, and a soft-top convertible roof that adds dramatic flair. The car is offered in four striking dual-tone colour combinations , elevating its sporty appeal.
🧠 Advanced Safety and Technology The Cyberster is not just about speed and style — it’s also smart. It includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) along with a Driver Monitoring System (DMS) for enhanced safety. These systems work seamlessly to prevent collisions and ensure safer driving in varied conditions.
