Montra Electric Launches ₹4.37 Lakh SUPER CARGO Electric 3-Wheeler in Delhi
Montra Electric, a subsidiary of the Murugappa Group, has officially launched its highly anticipated electric three-wheeler, the SUPER CARGO , in Delhi. Priced at ₹4.37 lakh (ex-showroom, inclusive of FAME II subsidies), the SUPER CARGO is designed to redefine last-mile cargo delivery in India’s bustling urban centers.
The launch marks a significant milestone in the country’s shift toward clean and efficient commercial transportation. Engineered for performance and practicality, the Montra SUPER CARGO comes equipped with a robust 1.2-tonne payload capacity , making it one of the most capable electric cargo vehicles in its segment.
One of its standout features is the impressive range of 170 km on a single charge , which is ideal for daily delivery operations without frequent charging interruptions. Additionally, the vehicle supports fast charging technology , capable of recharging up to 80% in just 15 minutes , significantly reducing downtime and boosting operational efficiency.
The vehicle is powered by a high-performance battery and drivetrain system, offering durability and consistent power delivery even under full load. The advanced suspension system and rugged chassis ensure the SUPER CARGO is equipped to handle varied terrains found in urban and semi-urban routes.
With its launch in Delhi, Montra Electric plans to expand the footprint of the SUPER CARGO to 90 cities across India , targeting e-commerce, FMCG, logistics, and other delivery-centric businesses. The vehicle also integrates smart connectivity features, allowing fleet operators to track vehicle performance, battery status, and optimize routes for maximum productivity.
