BikeWo Joins Hands with Instakart (Flipkart) to Power Last-Mile Deliveries with EVs
In a significant move towards sustainable logistics, BikeWo has announced a partnership with Instakart Services Private Limited , the logistics arm of Flipkart. This collaboration will leverage electric vehicles (EVs) and AI-driven technology to enhance last-mile delivery operations across Flipkart’s delivery network.
As part of the agreement, over 1,300 technology-enabled electric vehicles and trained delivery partners have been deployed across various Flipkart hubs in seven states . Deliveries will be executed using BikeWo’s proprietary AI-powered route optimisation platform , ensuring efficient and eco-friendly logistics.
Operations are being carried out within a structured framework focusing on trained personnel , intelligent route planning , and sustainable practices , aligning with the broader goals of reducing carbon footprint in e-commerce logistics.
Commenting on the development, Manideep K., Managing Director of BikeWo , said, “As e-commerce volumes rise, it’s crucial that logistics keeps pace not just in speed, but in sustainability.”
The partnership marks a strategic shift in how last-mile logistics is envisioned—combining green mobility, advanced tech, and operational efficiency to meet the growing demands of India’s e-commerce sector.
