Atul Greentech and Amara Raja Partner to Accelerate Atma Nirbhar Bharat in EV Sector

Telangana, India – In a significant move aimed at accelerating India’s electric vehicle (EV) transformation, Atul Greentech Pvt. Ltd. and the Amara Raja Group have entered into a strategic partnership to co-develop and supply Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery packs and chargers for electric three-wheelers.

As part of the partnership, the battery packs will be manufactured at Amara Raja’s Giga Corridor facility in Telangana, a key infrastructure hub dedicated to clean energy innovation and high-capacity battery manufacturing.

This alliance aims to create a robust and efficient supply chain for EV batteries in India, supporting the government’s ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ (self-reliant India) mission. The roadmap includes the development of advanced chemistry cells, reinforcing the nation’s drive towards sustainable and indigenous EV technology solutions.

Dr. Vijay Kedia, Director at Atul Auto Ltd., expressed confidence in the partnership, stating, “This collaboration strengthens our journey into the electric mobility space. By working with Amara Raja, we ensure access to high-quality, reliable battery solutions tailored for Indian conditions.”
