Ather Energy has reopened its exchange program, but with a twist! This time, it’s specifically targeted towards existing Ather 450 owners in Bengaluru who want to upgrade to the latest models – the Ather 450X and the Ather 450 Apex.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Eligibility: This program is only available for Ather 450 Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 owners in Bengaluru who registered for the Ather Upgrade program in January 2023.
- Validity: The program is valid till March 31, 2024 for those upgrading to the 450X, and April 30, 2024 for those choosing the 450 Apex.
Upgrading your Ather:
- Visit your nearest Ather Space with your existing scooter.
- Take a test ride of the Ather 450X or 450 Apex.
- Get an instant evaluation for your current Ather through their partner CredR.
- The exchange value will be adjusted towards the down payment of your new Ather scooter.
- Complete the purchase formalities by the deadline mentioned above.
Important Note:
This program is currently not available for upgrading from other two-wheeler brands or for pre-owned Athers that weren’t part of the January 2023 registration.
Thinking about the upgrade?
Ather is yet to announce the exchange value for scooters less than 36 months old. However, they have provided estimates for older vehicles:
- Upto ₹1.10 lakh for the Ather 450 Apex
- Upto ₹90,000 for the Ather 450X (3.7 kWh with Pro Pack)
- Upto ₹80,000 for the Ather 450X (2.9 kWh with Pro Pack)
