A Kerala startup is installing 1,000 EV charging stations in India
There have been several announcements made by Kerala-based start-ups, including GO EC Autotech Pvt Ltd recently, about the installation of 1,000 super-fast charging stations nationwide for electric vehicles (EVs). Presently, the company operates 70 charging stations in Kerala and more than 33 in other parts of the country.
According to a press release from the company, the company plans to strategically place charging stations across the country, which will include capital cities, state highways, and national highways, as well as Tier-2 cities and Tier-3 cities, not to mention rural areas, using this new project.
Moreover, the company aims to satisfy the needs of customers who reside in remote locations, to make it easier for them to adopt electric vehicles, according to a statement released by the company. The startup needs to achieve this milestone as it enables them to build on its track record, having already deployed over 103 charging stations in the Indian market within the last year.
As part of our commitment to revolutionize the way EVs are charged, GO EC has developed a range of products. In order to make sure that EV users have a convenient way to charge their vehicles while enjoying their visit, it has partnered with major restaurants and shopping malls. GO EC is headed by P G Ramnath, who is the CEO and Executive Director of the company, and he makes it a point to state that the company’s aims to provide electric vehicle owners with sustainable charging solutions and accelerate the transition to a more environmentally friendly future by providing sustainable charging solutions.
Among the significant hurdles that electric vehicle owners face, according to the CEO, is the lack of sufficient charging infrastructure, which makes long-distance travel all the more difficult for owners of electric vehicles. As a solution to this issue, Go EC, a company with a strong commitment to the environment, has adopted the mission of establishing charging stations throughout the entire country to address this issue.
