March 2023 Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Report

During the month of March, electric vehicle sales experienced an impressive surge. In all sectors of the economy, this can be seen in the sales figures. Year after year, month after month, like a unicorn, EV segments grow after a while. And every time it grows, it becomes a more and more interesting, fierce competition between the most innovative works of top companies. We have seen some newcomers join the Top Players list, but we had to say goodbye to a few players.

However, at these new tipping points in the EV segment, several major electric two-wheeler manufacturers are taking more precise steps to secure their positions than before. They bring the latest models and creative ideas to their customers, making them the number one or top ten EV manufacturers. This report presents the top 10 electric two-wheeler players in March 2023, along with their sales and growth rates.

It shows a staggering figure of 83,860 electric two-wheelers sold in March 2023, compared to 65,623 electric two-wheelers sold in February 2023. This gives us a 21.74% growth rate.

Considering March 2022 sales, that number is around 54,398, representing 35% year-over-year growth. The steady growth of the electric two-wheeler industry is encouraging. 

Let’s take a closer look at the top 10 players who made it to the top of the leaderboard. From market leaders to newcomers, these players are experiencing impressive growth in the dynamic world of electric two-wheelers.

As usual, Ola Electric has strengthened its position even more than before. They hit record sales in March 2023. The company sold 27,000 electric scooters in March 2023.
