Ather is expanding its line-up with two models in the 450 series. As expected, the unveiling ceremony for the new model should take place on January 7, 2023, Community Day. According to reports, it is expected to be a long-range version of the 450x with a larger battery pack. The second could feature cosmetic upgrades only. According to reports, it could be a new affordable Ather product in 2023.
Ather Energy has reached the milestone of producing 50,000 electric scooters in 50 months. Each one is interconnected and collects data about how it is driven and used. With 135 million miles of driving data, Ather says they used customer feedback and information to create the 450X Gen 3, their latest product launched in 2022. Compared to the Ather 450x gen 2, Ather 450x gen 3 is the more sufficient and best-performing EV from Ather in 2022. And the best part of the Ather Gen 3 can attain 0 to 40kmph speed in just 3. 3 seconds only.
Like previous Ather models, we can assume that future models will come with beefed-up battery packs, improved power output, and modified case shapes. Currently, Ather Energy only sells electric scooters in 30 cities in 15 states, and the manufacturer plans to further expand its dealer network in the future.
Governments may encourage the development of infrastructure to support electric vehicles, including Charging stations. A shorter range won’t be a big problem in the near future.
