Darwin Group forays into e-scooter segment, launches 3 e-scooters

Darwin Platform Group of Companies (DPGC) forayed into the electric vehicles sector with the launch of three new models of electric two-wheelers Darwin D-5, D-7 and D-14. The company’s models have been priced such as D5 with a price tag of Rs 68,000, D7 comes at Rs 73,000 and the D14 at Rs 77,000. If we talk about the features, the e-scooters have a muscular design, high-quality suspension and regenerative braking. Apart from that, it does also have the keyless entry, speed control gear, battery swapping, LED display, USB mobile charger port, hazard switch, etc.

The company said in a statement “With the launch of three models- D-5, D- 7 and D-14 with Make in India model for the world, we are embarking on a new journey and DPGC has taken a big leap forward to carbon neutrality and sustainability. We are introducing EVs that are at par with Japanese Standards and have got an international quality certification with Quality Austria Central Asia,”
