TVS subsidiary Ki Mobility forays into EV by launching EV service platform
Ki Mobility Solutions a part of TVS Automobile Solutions has announced the launch of a comprehensive digital mobility service platform for electric vehicles. The Ki Mobility will offer its complete portfolio of solutions all over India to help the EV manufacturers to quick start their operations in India. The company is entering into the EV segment by partnering eight EV manufacturing startups and leading original equipment manufacturers (OEM) such as Okinawa and Boom Motors companies.
The services by the company also includes the charging station facilities for these companies at over 2,500 garages associated with myTVS. The tie ups will include companies in the two-wheelers, three-wheelers, LCVs and passenger cars space.
Ki Mobility Solutions will provide the manufacturers with a wide service network across 250-plus towns for sales, service, insurance, roadside assistance, charging stations and parts.

“We are not going to invest in charging stations, instead we will provide them with both physical and technological infrastructure. We are targeting a market share of around 30 per cent in the EV market,” Raghavan said.
The company’s cloud based service network will support to roll out the plans with service promises to the electric vehicle manufacturers that helps to drive the competitive advantage.
Ki Mobility Solution is a new subsidiary of TVS Automobile Solutions established in November in 2020. The new entity raised Rs 85 crore from investors such as Pratithi Investment Trust (represented by its trustee and Infosys co-founder Kris Gopalakrishnan) and SeaLink Capital Partners (SCP).
