Relux Electric inaugurated new EV charging station in Chennai

RELUX Electric, a Tamil Nadu based EV charging facility provider and chargers manufacturer has inaugurated its new EV charging station on the 24th of September at Guindy, Chennai.

The EV charging station is inaugurated by Mr Karthik, MD of Relux in the presence of Hon. Minister of State for Rural Industries and Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board. Thiru. Tha Mo Anbarasan M.L.A.

Full-sized fast charging station in Tamil Nadu

The company claims that this is the first Full-Sized Fast Charging Station in Tamil Nadu which is equipped with DC Chargers of 15kW GB/T, 30kW CSS2, and 2W/3W fast charger which reduces 50 per cent of charging time for all 2W/3W with a unique RELUX’s own designed charger, with an ample parking space and waiting area.

It aims to develop a sustainable EV charging network towards a zero-emission mobility mission.

In March 2021, RELUX Electric has announced that it has recently inaugurated its 52nd electric vehicles charging station in Kerala. It has signed an MoU with Sihla Energy as a channel partner for Kerala. On the occasion of the Women’s Day celebration and EV charging station launch, the company is providing a free charging facility till March 31st.
