Electric vehicles great launches in upcoming month
Mercedes Benz India in its statement revealed the official launch date of EQC which is scheduled to go on sale on October 8. Earlier it had announced to make its debut in April 2020 but due to global pandemic, it postponed the launch.

The German luxury car manufacturer introduced the EQC electric vehicle brand at the starting of the year and it is the company’s first product in India. Through a CBU channel, it will be retailed in India. We can expect its cost of around Rs.1.20 crore (ex-showroom, pan India).
EQC will be the most liked luxury electric car in the Indian market in the coming years. It is similar to regular ICE powered Mercedes Benz vehicles with a unique styling detail which is an eco-friendly SUV.
The Mercedes-Benz EQC features a front-end with a large grille and a twin slat AMG-esque design. The silhouette is the same as its conventional cars added the futuristic patterns makes it look sleeker, eye catchy and appealing.
While talking about its technical terms, it has a dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout, it has two asynchronous electric motors, one mounted on the front axle, and another at the rear axle.
It gets it to power from the 80kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It can give range up to 471 km on a single charge as certified on the WLTP cycle. It gives 402 bhp output and produces 765 Nm of torque. We can expect the price of the Mercedes-Benz EQC is above 1 crore.
India’s fastest electric motorcycle
While we wait for the EQC to launch in the coming month, we have India’s fastest made in India electric motorcycle that will also be available from October 2020. The One Electric Motorcycles have announced its KRIDN electric motorcycle deliveries first production batch will commence in October 2020 which includes Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad cities.
The dealerships applications and pre-booking registrations are free and no need for deposits. The company is working on strategic partnerships with established players for their KRIDN-R Model for bike taxi and last-mile deliveries.
With the top speed of 95 kmph and 165 Nm torque, it is said to be one of the fastest electric motorcycles in India. The company has fulfilled many of the consumers’ desires by providing 100 km of range, which is more than enough for everyday commutes.
The company is planning an entry-level model in 2021 with 75 Kmph top speed from a 2 kW motor and the cost of Rs 1.29 lakhs (ex-showroom price) with a 2+1 year warranty. The bike provides a top speed of 95 km/h and on a full charge, it can provide 120 km range.
