Prakriti E-Mobility Pvt Ltd is launching Evera, a fleet of 500 Electric Cabs in Delhi soon. For this, the company is coming up with an app-based electric vehicle and will be rolled out this month. Gradually, the company plans to increase this number to 5,000 within a span of 2 years.

500 Electric Cabs in Delhi Soon

Prakriti E-Mobility Private Limited, a Delhi based start-up, co-founded by Nimish Trivedi, Vikas Bansal and Rajeev Tiwari, is launching a fleet of electric cabs to be run on Delhi roads. This e-cab service will be rolled out this month under the name ‘Evera’ and these vehicles are app-based. The primary motto behind launching Evera is to tackle the rising air pollution in the region.

Nimish Trivedi, the co-founder and CEO of Prakriti E-Mobility Private Limited, said, “Evera as a service is not only focused on getting customers from point A to point B but will also contribute towards the greater good of the planet.”

In the first phase, Prakriti will introduce 500 electric cabs under the Evera service. Gradually, the company plans to increase this number to 5,000 within a span of 2 years.

Besides the zero-emission commute, these include a zero-surge pricing and also zero cancellation charges.

“The customers can book cabs without worrying about the hike in the price and they can cancel the ride without paying for it,” the company further added.

In order to handle an eminent challenge involved in charging such a huge fleet of electric vehicles proficiently, Prakriti plans to set up its own charging infrastructure. For this, the company is also in key partnership discussions with players involved in the charging ecosystem.
