Now you can pre-book Ather 450S, Ola’s S1 rival
Ather Energy is set to introduce the Ather 450S electric scooter to the segment and will launch it next month on August 3. Ather has announced the opening of the reservation window for its 450S electric scooter. A delivery date of September is expected to be set for the product.

Charges for booking and price
The initial cost of purchasing the Ather 450S electric scooter is set at an amount of Rs 1,29,999.
Interested customers can now pre-order the Ather 450S at any of its authorized stores in India. They can also order e-scooters online by visiting their official website. Customers can pre-order the e-scooter for the amount of Rs 2,500 and the amount will be fully refunded.
Fewer features in the base variant
This is one of the more affordable electric scooters they have in their portfolio and is called the Ather 450S. It will be an entry-level model and will fall below the Ather 450X in its range and at a lower price than that of the Ather 450X.
The 450S is expected to have some changes compared to the 450X model. Recent trailers released by the company show a more basic touchscreen instrument panel and smaller rearview mirrors.
The specifications
The Ather 450S is powered by a 3 kWh battery and the company claims that a single charge of the battery will provide a range of 115 km for the vehicle. A 3.9-second acceleration from 0 km/h to 40 km/h is expected for this car, as well as a top speed of 90 km/h when it reaches its top speed.
Optional colors
A total of four colors will be available for the 450S:
The colors are Salt & Pepper Green, Cosmic Black, Space Gray, and Static White. Considering the upcoming Ola S1 Air and TVS iQube, it is likely that it will become a strong competitor in the coming months.
Rival of the Ola S1 Air
Several hours after Ola Electric opened the purchase window for the Ola S1 Air, the 450S pre-order message appeared. There will be direct competition between the 450S and the Ola S1 Air in the Indian market.
