Fresh Bus rolls out futuristic EV fleet, eyes 1000+ nationwide by 2026

Fresh Bus is rolling out 24 electric buses this month on the Bengaluru-Tirupati and Hyderabad-Vijayawada routes.

Fresh Bus, an innovative intercity EV bus service, has unveiled its first fleet of electric buses on the Bengaluru-Tirupati route, aiming to have over 1000 electric buses operating across India by 2026. The premium 12m coach with 45+ seats is now available for a special inaugural fare of Rs 399 per seat. Fresh Bus will soon launch services for the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route by the end of this month.

The bus service plans to expand its EV Bus platform to operate on the top 100 routes in India in the near future. Their electric buses have the capability to travel up to 400 km on a single charge, making them an efficient and sustainable option for long-distance travel.

Features of the electric buses

Fresh Bus is raising the bar for intercity travel in India with its smart electric buses. These innovative vehicles can travel up to 400 km at a maximum speed of 90 km/hour and can be fully charged in just 2 hours. Fresh Bus also offers a premium in-cabin experience with features like noise-free fully air-conditioned cabins, comfortable seating with a 45° recline, amenity kits, personal charging docks, Wi-Fi, and real-time tracking. With uniformed and friendly crew, IOT-enabled air-quality and temperature monitoring, and more.

Fresh Bus is committed to revolutionizing bus travel in India by prioritizing passenger safety and experience. To achieve this, they have strict safety guidelines, regular vehicle inspections, and well-trained drivers who undergo a rigorous vetting process. Fresh Bus also offers 24×7 real-time assistance through their app and customer support center. The fleet is equipped with enhanced safety features, such as regenerative braking, battery temperature sensors, CCTV surveillance, medical kits, onboard fire extinguishers, and a pink seat feature for female travelers.

The Fresh Bus team received congratulations on their launch from Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Minister of Road Transport and Highways in India. We are initially launching 24 electric buses this month across Bengaluru-Tirupati and Hyderabad-Vijayawada. In the next phase, we will start services on top 100 routes across India covering routes from/to Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Pune and more. By the end of 2026, we expect to scale to 1000+ electric buses, set up 100+ charging stations pan-India and save over 4000 hectares of the forest!”
