SEAT’S First Electric Car, SEAT has launched its first Electric Vehicle at Geneva Motor Show. The name SEAT el-Born represents the region in Barcelona where the company had been found.

SEAT, a Spanish automobile manufacturer, head office in Martorell, Spain. the brand with the vision of electric technology application to vehicles for urban two-seater or a high-performance CUV (Cross Utility Vehicle) that can fulfill the mobility needs of individuals.
SEAT’S First Electric Car Specifications
SEAT el-Born will have a 62kWh battery and a power output of 150W (206PS), with a 0-62mph time of 7.4 seconds. It provides the range of 420km (260 miles), which for a compact urban run around sounds pretty compelling. The battery charges up to 80 percent in just 47 minutes.
On board, additional technologies include level 2 autonomy such as automatic parking, partial control over speed and steering.
It has a huge central display and a digital driver display and it will reach the market in 2020.
SEAT Presented Two Concept Cars
The company presented two concept cars for the first time. The one is a completely electric vehicle based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.
CUPRA Formentor, Plug-In Hybrid Car
The other is the CUPRA Formentor, a high-performance plug-in hybrid CUV with CUPRA DNA which is the first vehicle developed specifically for this brand. The car will reach the market by 2020.
SEAT Minimo, Electric Concept Car
SEAT’s other invention, SEAT Minimo, a concept car which is a 100% electric vehicle that combines the best of a motorcycle and a car. Unveiled in the Geneva motor show.
The aim of this car is to make the consumer comfortable and safer. It can be parked easily and can carry two passengers at once. It has been developed with an integrated battery swap system that can be charged in just a few minutes and gives the range of more than 100 kilometers.
Features Of SEAT Minimo
At 2.5m long, and 1.24m wide, the car takes up 3.1 square meters of space versus the 7.2 square meters of a normal car, making it eco-friendly vehicle.
The Advantage of Minimo is it can be parked in a motorcycle’s parking space and is hyperconnected with 5G technology that can serve as the digital user experience.
The car adapts its speed to either 45 or 90 km/h based on the Google assistant on Android Auto depending on the road and hands on the wheel.
