ANERT has floated a tender for a 30-kW Rooftop Solar System in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The estimated value of the tender is ₹4 million and the last date for the submission of bids is December 16, 2019. As for the eligibility criteria, the bidder must be incorporated and registered in India under the Indian Companies Act, and the bidder should show a turnover of ₹30 million for the last three financial years.

The Agency of Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Technology (ANERT) has tendered for a 30-kW grid-connected rooftop solar system along with battery backup and electric vehicle charging station at its headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram. Interested bidders should submit an amount of ₹100,000 as the earnest money deposit (EMD).

The work opportunities include the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 30-kW grid-connected integrated solar roofing system with a net metering facility along with a battery backup of one hour and an electric vehicle charging station.

The 30-kW rooftop Solar system will be installed at the 250 square meter area at the ANERT premises, and the roofing system will be served as the parking facility for two and four-wheeler.

The electric vehicle charging station will be used as the charging infrastructure for two, three and four-wheeler and would include fast, slow and moderate chargers.

According to the rules cited in the tender, the supply and installation of the entire system should take place within three months from the date of the supply order.

Earlier this year, the Kerala Government has launched the Soura program to add 1,000 MW of solar projects to the existing capacity of Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) by 2022.  Out of the 1,000 MW, 500 MW will be implemented through the solar rooftop program. As a part of phase I, 200 MW rooftop solar capacity has been planned.
