India’s first dual suspension e-cycle launched

Electro Motorad a Pune based EV startup has launched an electric cycle which claims to be India’s first electric cycle with a dual-suspension setup. Its products line up included EMX and Doodle which claims to provide a comfortable riding experience to the riders. They are priced upwards of ₹50,000.

EMotorad plans to launch three more products by December and February are known as EM-Cosmos, T-Rex, and T-rex Pro. The company also plans to sell accessories for the e-cycle apart from the sales of the cycles.

The company says that the new product showcases India’s first dual suspension in an e-cycle. Its electric cycles are equipped with a Samsung battery and can provide a range over 45 km which can be extended to over 70 km if paddle assistance is used by the rider.

It has 36V 250W BLDC rear hub motor which is powered with a 36V 10.4Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery (removable) and it weighs 21 kg. It comes with a 5 years warranty on frame, 1 year on battery, 2 years on motor and 2 years on the motor controller.

While we look into its features it has dual disc brakes for rider’s safety, LED lamp for night riders, dual suspension set up for added comfort, 21-speed Shimano tourney dual derailleurs set up, durable spring seats for a comfortable ride. The e-cycle has got a 6061 aluminium alloy, adjustable lock suspension.

    One would be fool to buy such a electric cycle, where the detacheble battery weight is २१ kg.with one year warranty.and do not know the cost of battery
